DERUFA
God must be a painter. Why else would we have so many colors? © «A Beautiful Mind».
Just imagine the stunning beauty of the castle, opening with the help of a unique cipher, called the «Cultural Code», which represents the relationship with the centuries-old cultural heritage at the level of symbols, meanings and meanings…
In the author's collection of paints created by Ekaterina Elizarova for the Russian company DERUFA, the only official representative of the German paint factory of the same name, the color ceases to be just a color.
It turns into an incredibly beautiful story, «speaks» about our origins, translates love for the present and endless faith in a better future. This is an interesting way to find Russian identity, which is our cultural code. Here the color gives birth to the brightest associative series, touching the hidden strings of the human soul, so when we come into contact with it, we feel with our hearts what plot formed its basis.
The collection is represented by 22 exclusive shades. The color palette reflects the character of the Russian person, making a reference to our roots, to what is embedded in our historical and cultural DNA. These are rich terracotta — like the heat of an oven, scorching clay, mustard-caramel — reminiscent of the noble gold of autumn leaves, light gray — light as a haze of morning fog or warm yellow, reminiscent of the glare of a lantern on a dense snow cap, delicate pink-peach — like a child's embrace, a muted shade of greenery with the addition of a golden note, like grass in late August, which still retains the summer warmth, anticipating the autumn coolness… It's about the legacy of our ancestors, about the memory of each of us, which contains our strength and stunning beauty.
The source of inspiration for the creation of the author's palette was the study of Russian culture. Those very subtle natural moments that we lose sight of, obeying the rhythms of life of huge megacities. It is the story of eternal, unchanging values that formed the basis of this collection. All shades are united by the main leitmotif — these are muted colors that perfectly illustrate the mentality of the Russian person.
An important feature of the collection is the absolute compatibility of shades. This is where the magic begins: take, without looking, any three colors — they are combined with each other, the next three — and again a stunning tandem. This game with a restrained palette of noble, interior shades allows you to create non-trivial color collaborations for both ordinary buyers and professional designers.
In the amazing collection created by Ekaterina Elizarova, colors have become a means of Spiritual expression, they tell about the multifaceted and complex inner world of the Russian person, as well as about the depth of his feelings, making a reference to our historical memory. It is a system of unique archetypes, images and values that characterize our identity, mentality and moral attitudes.
